LEEDs and Engineered Roof Deck Systems Added to Web Site
Added to the NRDCA web site is a set of comprehensive information on the United States Green Building Council (USGRC) and its LEED® Rating System and how Engineered Roof Deck Systems fit into the LEEDs point system. The information covers the benefits of building green, the USGBC, the LEED rating system, LEED Construction checklist and points provided by Engineered Roof Deck Systems available in the commercial construction market.

F. E. Rooftec Corp. Joins NRDCA
F. E. Rooftec Corporation of Melrose Park, IL joins the NRDCA as a contractor member. The company owner Franklin Evans has been installing LWIC and gypsum roof decks for over 25 years in the North Central market. The NRDCA welcomes Franklin to its membership.

Pro Crete Systems Joins the NRDCA
Pro Crete Systems located in Pinellas Park, FL has joined the NRDCA as a contractor member. The company has been providing light weight insulating concrete and gypsum floors for many years in the Florida market. The NRDCA welcomes their representative, Wall Behrendt to its membership.

The NRDCA program "Engineered Roof Deck Systems" has most recently been presented by Leo Legatski, Elastizell Corporation of America, to 10 architects in the Las Vegas market. The architects expressed appreciation at having a broad review of the systems represented by the NRDCA. This opportunity also provided the attendees to delve into more detail regarding the systems.

Contractor Presents AIA-CES Program to
Customers
Western Fireproofing Company of Kansas located in Kansas City, MO is routinely using the AIA approved program "Engineered Roof Deck Systems" to acquaint their architectural customers about NRDCA member systems. So far 69 persons have been provided the NRDCA program in the Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri markets. The program has been a resounding success in educating architects and specifiers about lightweight insulating concrete, engineered steel deck composite, cementitious wood fiber and gypsum roof deck systems. The architects receive 1 unit toward their AIA CES program.

New Web Site Introduced by the NRDCA
The NRDCA is pleased to announce the newly developed web site you are now visiting. The site provides easier movement through the information provided about the industries systems available for commercial roof top construction. Location of contractors has been facilitated via a complete listing of contractor members of the association. Additional published articles may be found in the literature section located under the FAQ tab. A search function has been added to assist in finding site information.
