The National Roof Deck Contractors Association represents contractors who install engineered roof deck substrates that provide structural support and insulation to roofing system applications. The Association has been supporting the industry for over 50 years. The member contractors install both poured-in-place insulating concrete systems as well as rigid structural deck systems. System manufacturers approve the member contractors to install these systems by virtue of their training and years of experience.

Description of NRDCA Systems Added to Web Site

The NRDCA announces the availability of system descriptions which describe the various Engineered Roof Deck Systems that are represented by the NRDCA. The pictures of the four systems and a link to system information appear above the NRDCA News heading.

Each system description provides information on the system, where in is used and important attributes to consider in selecting the system. Additional detailed information on each system may be found under the manufactures heading in the About NRDCA section of this web site. LEED® and Engineered Roof Deck Systems Added to Web Site

Added to the NRDCA web site is a set of comprehensive information on the United States Green Building Council (USGRC) and its LEED® Rating System and how Engineered Roof Deck Systems fit into the LEED point system. The information covers the benefits of building green, the USGBC, the LEED rating system, LEED Construction checklist and points provided by Engineered Roof Deck Systems available in the commercial construction market.
